• Air your garments instead of washing whenever possible

• Wash only when necessary to reduce wear and environmental impact

• Always follow any specific care instructions provided with your piece

• Use mild detergents and avoid fabric softeners

Knitwear

• Store folded, never hung, to maintain shape

• Dry flat after washing

• Avoid frequent washing—airing is often enough

• Remove pilling gently with a fabric comb

Leather

• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and moisture

• Clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth

• Use leather conditioner sparingly to maintain suppleness

• Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in a breathable dust bag

Tailored & Structured Pieces

• Hang on wide, supportive hangers to retain shape

• Steam instead of ironing where possible

• Spot clean when needed and dry clean only when necessary

Delicate & Reworked Materials

• Handle with care—many pieces are one of a kind

• Hand wash cold when appropriate, or dry clean

• Avoid wringing or twisting fabrics

Storage

• Keep garments in a cool, dry space

• Avoid plastic covers—use breathable garment bags

• Store heavier items folded, lighter items hung

Repair & Longevity

We encourage repair over replacement. Small imperfections and signs of wear are part of the garment’s story, but can often be restored.
